You can do one thing. Write a seperate like balancesheet and call that report from via XML by applying SVFromdate and SVTodate.

Use : Balance Sheet
Form : Balance Sheet
Set : SVFrom date : ##SVFromDate
Set : SVToDate : ##SVToDate
in XML,
Replace the Report Name with above.
